If you want to add length to your stainless steel prong collar, this extra link is the perfect solution. Adjust the length of the collar appropriately to avoid harming your dog during training.

All Hermspringer prong collars come in standard sizes. However, you can customize each one to fit perfectly by adding or removing links. A properly fitting pinch collar ensures maximum effectiveness while minimizing the risk of injury.

These are additional 4 mm links for stainless steel prong collars (see list of appropriate prong collars in the "Similar Products" tab). Each link adds 2 inches (5 cm) to the overall length of the collar. Therefore, if you need additional links for this Hamm-Springer stainless steel pinch collar, please select the number of links you need from the drop down box to order.

How to add/remove links from a pinch collar:

Select the link you wish to remove.
Slide the link toward the end of the prong.
Grip the prongs together so that the ringed end slides off.
Add or remove links as needed to correctly size the collar.

When ordering, select the correct size prong links in the same metal composition as your collar, in millimeters. When adding or removing prong links, remember to attach the same number of prong links to both sides of the center plate. If the collar fitting requires an odd number of prong links, make sure there is only one more prong link on one side of the center plate than on the other side. The goal is for the center plate to be in front of the dog's neck, above the trachea.
