It is very useful in “staunching” and “steadying” well-started pointing dogs and in encouraging flushing dogs. The RL 10 Launcher lets you control the bird’s location and when it will flush. The bird can’t walk off or run away and it can’t flush until you pull the release lever. With the RL 10’s strong springs, the bird is tossed high enough that it must fly.
